10 Powerful Tips to Write and Sell Your First Ebook

Good Morning! In the spirit of practicing what I preach, I’m going to allow a few guest posts. I will send them on the weekend and link to some of my previous blog posts. I mentioned something similar to this in Tuesday’s Growth Hacking tip. My goal is to give you some info from outside sources that is short, to-the-point, and will help you on your authorpreneur journey.

Today’s Guest Post is by How To Start A Blog Online. Please let me know what you think and if I should continue to add posts like this in the future.

Happy Weekend,

-Marquina 🌞

If it is your first time to publish an Ebook, make sure there are no mistakes. You can’t just publish something that is filled with glaring errors or else it will affect the sales. Ultimately, it will tarnish your reputation. Instead of attracting more buyers, they will be turned off.

Just like anything else, first impressions last. You can’t afford to start on the wrong foot as you are still an anonymous author. You are trying to build a good name. You can’t do it unless you put out something that is perfect from the start until the end.

Of course, you can’t expect everything to be flawless. Just make sure there are no obvious errors. This includes the spelling, grammar, and facts. If you quote from other sources, make sure that you credit these sources. Also, avoid using a lot of quotes. Otherwise, it won’t look like an original Ebook anymore.

Once you are done with your first draft, take a look at the entire draft again and edit it. You should also ask other people to take a look at your draft. Perhaps, there are errors that you have overlooked and they can help you spot those mistakes.

If you have fully proofread your book, you can start selling it. Create a website devoted to it. Ask bloggers to review your book, and read their reviews. This will help you improve the next time around. Don’t feel bad if not everyone says good things about your first try. You can still do better.
