Hey Friends!

If you’ve been following along in recent months, you know that a lot is happening. The Kickstarter for my book TOUGH Women Who Survived Cancer was fully funded by 198 backers who pledged $20,953! The book has entered into final editing and on September 10 will be available for purchase. Eeee!!

And now, to support the amazing cancer survivor community, we’re hosting the Share Triumph Virtual Conference on August 5-15 — which is headlined by Broadway actress and star of Hamilton Mandy Gonzalez! I’m so excited to tell you a bit about it!

The Share Triumph Virtual Conference is a free online event. Join us and you’ll hear one-on-one conversations, compelling personal stories, and intimate in-depth discussions from more than 40 incredible cancer survivors, metavivors, caregivers and medical experts. Expect to be humbled and wowed by stories about women’s diagnosis, treatment, and the cancer aftermath. Also expect to be seriously encouraged as you listen to conversations with some brilliant, strong, and creative women!

Women like…

Dr. Lisa Roth. Dr. Roth is the Director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Lymphoma Program at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Hospital. Dr. Roth never imagined she’d be diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and enter into the very sort of treatment she had been trained to oversee. Discover what she learned when she stepped aside from caring for patients to get the care she needed herself.

Women like…

Joni Rodgers. Joni is a cancer survivor and the New York Times Bestselling Author of Bald in the Land of Big Hair. Hear Joni share her inspiring story of how a “5 years to live” diagnosis created a write-or-die mentality in her that would strip away layers of her former life and liberate her to rediscover her true identity.

Women like…

Yoko Katz, a Breast Cancer Survivor, professor, and the founder of Heal in Heels. Yoko’s story unfolds at theintersection of treatment and fashion. Today, she’s doing awe-inspiring, innovative work in to create functional garments for cancer survivors!

Women like…

LaTonya Davis, a Strategic Marketer and the host of the podcast The Breast Talk Ever. After her mother’s battle with breast cancer and her sister’s death, LaTonya’s own diagnosis upended her life in ways you cannot comprehend. LaTonya is an athlete, a runner, and a coach. Her story touches on how she coached herself, adopted her nephew after her sister’s death to breast cancer, navigated difficult conversations, leaned on friends and her faith, and how she’s sharing her experience through her podcast.

And, finally, we’re STOKED that Broadway actress Mandy Gonzalez will be headlining the event! You know Mandy as the star of Hamilton and the founder of Fearless Squad #FearlessSquad. She’s a creative leader. She’s a person of passion. And she’ll be joining us to discuss what fearlessness looks like, how to create communities of belonging, and how to empower others while empowering ourselves!

I can’t wait to kick off this amazing event with you! Remember, the conference goes LIVE on Monday, August 5th. You can hear all the stories from the comfort of your own home just by clicking a link via email.
If you know someone dealing with a cancer diagnosis and the emotional aftermath, forward them this email and encourage them to Get Their Free Conference Pass: https://conference.sharetriumph.com

Let’s keep our spirits intact and teach one another to share our triumphs. RSVP NOW and save your seat for this deeply moving and meaningful free event!

See you soon online at the conference!

Marquina
